The first two chapters describe in a simple and detailed way the basics of taking measurements and the construction of the basic trouser pattern. The third chapter shows the characteristics of the transformation of the base pattern and how to know how to interpret each model. The last chapter focuses on the trouser lining, specifically on its pattern and length. The main difficulty that this book tries to solve is not mastering the construction and transformation techniques, but knowing which one (or ones) to use to build the pattern of the model you have in mind.
