Coat Workshop Layer

Do you want to create your own coat-type layer, fully adapted to your measurements and your style?

Then, this workshop is perfect for you.

In this monograph you will learn to make a coat-type layer from scratch, starting from the base pattern of your own body and making its full transformation until you get a custom garment. Each student will be able to adapt the design to your liking and decide if you want to perform it with or without lining, according to the finish you are looking for.

We will completely work all the process, from the pattern to the final preparation, so that you get a well-structured, careful garment with professional finishes.

In addition, the students will have a complete doser that will include:
• Measuring guide
• Step by step for the realization of the base pattern
• Layer Transformations
• Development of extra pieces such as necks, flaps, cansu and hoods

Materials
The materials will vary according to the design chosen by each student. It will be necessary to consult with the teacher before the start of the workshop.

Dates and schedule
The workshop will be held on two days of the same weekend at the Pontejo Academy:
• Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
